Senior Photographer | Samantha ~ Class of 2024

Samantha’s senior portrait session was extra special in more ways than one. Recently relocated to Texas, she and her mom made the trip back to California’s beautiful Central Coast—a place filled with memories, familiarity, and the perfect backdrop for such a meaningful milestone. I felt incredibly honored to be the one to capture this moment for them.

The Central Coast gave us everything we could have hoped for: soft coastal light, breezy ocean air, and those timeless, natural landscapes that make every image feel effortless and genuine.

Samantha brought such a calm confidence to her session. Whether she was laughing with her mom between shots or soaking in the scenery, her personality truly shined through. It’s always my goal with senior portraits to capture more than just a photo—I want to preserve who you are in this moment, right on the edge of something new.

Sessions like this remind me why I love what I do. It’s not just about beautiful locations or perfect lighting (though we had plenty of both)—it’s about stories, connections, and milestones worth remembering.

Samantha, thank you for trusting me with such an important chapter. Wishing you all the best as you step into this exciting next season!

The benefit of living and working here in Monterey county, is the abundance of beautiful locations that we get to shoot in! This session was no exception. Travis’ family ranch was gorgeous and had the best views of the valley!

Photographing Travis in a place where he undoubtedly has countless memories captured from throughout his childhood adds an extra layer of sentiment to this session.

There’s something about a ranch setting that just fits a senior session for a guy—it’s relaxed, a little rugged, and full of natural character. For this session, we leaned into all of that. Wide open spaces, weathered fences, and dusty paths, created the perfect backdrop for photos that feel both timeless and personal.

This season of life is a big one—right on the edge of everything changing. Sessions like this aren’t just about marking the end of high school, but about capturing a sense of place and identity before the next chapter begins. Out here, away from distractions, it’s easier to slow things down and let that come through.

I am excited to move my favorite session posts to the new Blog! Since Spring is approaching fast, I thought we should start with Seniors! I was lucky enough to know Molly for all 4 of her years at Salinas High School. Her passion for dance and her smile while performing are infectious. The photos from Molly’s session are some of my absolute favorites.

I am honored to be able to share with you Jake, Salinas High School, Class of 2025! I have been blessed to be able to see Jake play Football and Lacrosse for the Cowboys these last few years. He is a hardworking, dedicated and supportive part of his teams. I can honestly say I don’t think I have every seen him without a smile on his face.
