A Senior Session Straight out of a Fairytale

Lillian’s senior portrait session in downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea was nothing short of enchanting. Surrounded by the storybook charm of this coastal village, every corner seemed to offer the perfect backdrop to celebrate such a meaningful season of life.

We began the session with Lillian in a breathtaking floral gown, her long curly hair cascading beautifully around her shoulders. The soft movement of her dress paired perfectly with the romantic setting, creating images that felt timeless and elegant. One of the most memorable parts of the session was incorporating her cello—a beautiful reflection of her artistry and passion. Set against a charming brick courtyard filled with lush greenery, these portraits captured both her grace and the quiet strength she carries.

One particularly magical location felt straight out of Romeo and Juliet—romantic architecture, ivy-covered walls, and an old-world charm that made every image feel cinematic.

As a graduate of Salinas High School and a proud Cowboys cheerleader, it was such an honor to celebrate this exciting milestone with her. To honor her Salinas High School memories, Gabby changed into a timeless combination of jeans and her letterman jacket. This look highlighted her school spirit and celebrated the dedication and accomplishments that have defined her high school years. As a Cowboys cheerleader, she brought so much energy and confidence to every image, making these portraits a beautiful reflection of this chapter in her life.

I got to know Ashley over the course of her Senior Year at Salinas High School. She is one of the sweetest and most caring young ladies I have ever met. We would chat at sports games where she was fulfilling the important task of being first aid/athletic trainer through her FAST academy classes. Ashley always had a kind greeting and a genuine smile for everyone, and I am so grateful that I got to know her.
